Your desk needs a Game of Thrones MLB bobbleheads

We now have yet another reason to anticipate the start of baseball season (besides baseball of course). It was just announced that the MLB has teamed up with FOCO and Game of Thrones to produce a line of bobbleheads for the 2019 season.

Have you stopped screaming yet?

According to a press release, the bobbleheads will feature fan-favorite players as well as Game of Thrones characters (and settings) from the show. The best part is you can pre-order the bobbleheads from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and not have to worry about calling out sick to work to attend that random Tuesday afternoon game, even though you probably still will.

The cheapest figure starts around $45 and the most expensive is just $60. They include figures like a Los Angeles Dodgers Night King bobblehead complete with an icy “L.A.” a blue bat and a chained dragon — Viserion to be exact.

How freakin’ cool is that?

There are three collections (released so far), which include the Night King as described above as well as the Iron Throne series and the Ice Dragon Series. Don’t worry all teams are being represented so there’s something for everyone.

“As fans of the Game of Thrones series, FOCO is thrilled to partner with HBO and MLB to launch these unique cross licensed bobbleheads,” said Matthew Katz, licensing manager at FOCO. “Fans now have the chance to bring together the Seven Kingdoms and the 30 MLB teams, and we are sure everyone will be excited to collect these special bobbleheads.”

The first series is expected to begin delivery at the end of March. Just in time for spring training and the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere.

Next: Everything in season 1 that matters for season 8

Game of Thrones starts its final season on April 14 and these bobbleheads are proof that the fandom of that series will live on long after the show is off the air.
