New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard showed off his arm in the newest episode of Game of Thrones on Sunday night.

When he takes the mound, New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard is no stranger to mowing down opposing hitters with his arm. It turns out that he’s got a skill for firing spears as well. On Sunday night, Syndergaard got one of the coolest opportunities, as he made a cameo in Game of Thrones.

The Spoils of War‘ featured one of the most memorable battles yet to close the show. As the Lannisters were cut off by the Dothraki and Drogon, they were cornered on all sides. That’s when the Mets’ ace made his cameo and threw a mean spear to show off his throwing technique.

Needless to say, the nickname “Thor” applies here as well for him.

It was one of the more brutal battles this season, as the Lannister’s army got absolutely set ablaze by Drogon with Daenerys leading the charge. To say everyone felt the burn would be an understatement.

In many ways, it’s a lot like how opposing hitters feel when they have to step into the box to face Syndergaard each time he takes the mound.

Getting to star in any TV show is cool for anyone, but getting to star in the most popular show is another. It was quite the short-lived cameo for the flamethrower and he along with the rest of the soldiers he fought alongside got to feel the heat themselves. If Chase Utley was in the battle, he might have thrown behind him instead.
